The Junior League of Wilkes-Barre made a $24,000 Donation to Ruth’s Place, an emergency shelter for women in need. The monies were raised through the JLWB’s annual event — The Wine & Dine at the Luzerne County Courthouse. Funds will be utilized to make capitol improvements to Ruth’s Place.
