Heartfelt Giving Food DrivePlease help feed those in need in Northeastern PA by donating non-perishable food items to help the Junior League of Wilkes-Barre restock the shelves of the CEO’s Weinberg Food Bank.

Food donations (no glass please) can be dropped off at any one of the participating locations.  Monetary donations would also be most helpful & checks can be made out to the JLWB Heartfelt Giving and mailed to:

The monies were raised through the JLWB’s annual event — The Wine & Dine at the Luzerne County Courthouse. Funds will be utilized to make capitol improvements to Ruth’s Place.

Patrons of the event sample wine and delicious dishes graciously donated by area restaurants. This year’s Wine & Dine event will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Mohegan Sun. We are thrilled to have this event held in such a fabulous location. 

Mingle with friends as you sample an array of wines and food from the areas
finest restaurants. You¹ll also enjoy live entertainment and a basket raffle
with many great prizes!

This year’s event will benefit 3 very important community organizations:

  •  The CYC (Catholic Youth Center) ­ Right Choice Program
  •  The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association ­ Scholarships for those in need
  •  Maternal & Family Health Services, Inc. ­ Nurse-Family Partnership Home
    Visit Programs

$55 per person, $100 per couple. Call 288-4818 for tickets.
